what resistor do i need?

Postby r4mp4g3n00b » Tue Aug 12, 2008 1:17 pm

hey

im going to mod my psp

i already got the wire and the SMD leds, but now i need the resistor

i live in the Netherlands, and it seems to be very hard to find all of this stuff :?

the colors of the resistor on the picture are: brown, black gold yellow
this is confusing me, cause a normal resistor has gold at the back not somewhere in the middle

i've found enough resistors in dutch webshops, but i dont know if i have the good ones

so i only need a 10 ohm resistor, but i also need to know how many Watt's

could someone give me an answer, please :D :D :D

greetz from the Netherlands

Lack of power.

I've tested every line printed on the board, looks like when I put it incorrect, the lights still turned on, but initial power led (green) reduced.

This looks sooo freakin' cool (hearts for eyes!) I'm going to go out tomorrow and get all the parts for this. I hope I'm able to find pink or purple LEDs locally (but Guam sucks) <3

I'll post pictures if successful!

1. Connect your PSP to your computer via a USB connection

2. Go to 'My Computer' and explore the Removable Disc that is detected on Windows, which is actually your PSP.There should be a folder called 'PSP there.

3. Within the 'PSP' folder, there is a folder called 'GAME'. Within the 'GAME' folder, create a folder called 'UPDATE'.

IMPORTANT: The update folder can ONLY be inside the 'GAME' folder for the update process to work.

4. Copy the firmware version 2.71 file EBOOT.PBP into the 'UPDATE' folder. (Please make sure it's the right firmware version)

5. Disconnect the USB connection.
