does anybody here recommend wiring all of them in parallel to the 12v with a high resistor? im worried that i can reduce the voltage but the current will bust the LEDs up. where do you guys solder yours?

hello, everybody. I m making a stick arcade and i wish to light some buttons.
So i would have reading this topic with a translator (i'm french) and i will wan't to know:
Where did i solder the resistor and the wedge light on a wire pad?
As of now, i m never seen some pics with a pcb pad ( resistor solder and wedge light) this will be more speak.
I have caculated too the wedge.
So i have bought 2 wedge light to 12V (1.2w) and i have found 15.Ohm. I hope that i m not mistake :( .

If some body can help me, because in the french web site no body answer me. Thank u before.

The rumble motors are 2v. Yes you can wire that many LEDs if you go in parallel and they're not too high of a voltage.

When removing SMDs, how much solder do i need to put on each one to be able to remove it? Do i have to cover the whole LED up? Or just the ends?

You wanna use some solder and FLUX. Lot of Flux.

I use lots of flux and clean my tip alot. use alittle solder on each side.

B) Telling me tht eBay wasnt the way

np.

I had actually bought most of my modding gear off of ebay. the only thing i didnt buy from ebay was my resistors and my wire, and soldering iron,

NEVER buy LED's from radio shack, i just bought 100 red for $7 on ebay and bought 4 radio at radio shack for $5.50

so key advice.. only get resistors/solder/pcb board/ from radio shack almost everything else from ebay.
