So the past day ive been reading up on what might have caused my xbox 360 to get the E80 error and 1 RLOD, i've read on numerous posts all over the web that i either removed a resistor (R6T3) or i have the "Wrong LDV version in NAND Flash" or the NXE update detected i didnt have an e-fuse blown and did something to my xbox. I have never take off any resistors from my xbox, the only thing i have done is taken the stock xclamps off and fixed my 3 RLOD by applying a new heatsink, i have aslo flashed my xbox to play back ups, i am not sure what an LDV or NAND flash is and i have had the NXE update since it came out and just got this error yesterday. any ideas?

oh sorry i must have left that part out when it started up my friend said it was asking to update so i told him to go for it and after it restarted then i got the e80, and i've read that when it updates it should blow something called an e-fuse and im thinking it either didnt or couldnt

The update will probably be the issue then.
Maybe download an older version?

Personally, I don't know how and even if it's possible.
Look at "Llamma Error Codes and....." at the "Failed Update (or similar)" bit and download some older versions.
Might work.

alright i'll give the failed update disc method a try, ive already tried the sync button to clear failed data caches and that didnt work, and since all i get is the E80 screen i cant navigate around my dash to find the system tab for the reset method =[

Unplug the dvd and see if you still get that error. If you blew and e-fuse, you may need to do a NAND dump and find the cpu key to get that straightened out. here is a start :
